Earlier this month, we launched our Wear Adventure collection, an exploration back to Bleubird’s roots: Winter. Designed for colder-season adventuring, focusing on mid-layers and outerwear, the collection features 6 ranges of fleece and 5 ranges of outerwear.

An overview…
The Tabor is a versatile, mid-weight insulated jacket that is perfect for providing heat and protection from light showers. Light enough to be worn as a mid-layer on more extreme days or on days when you don’t quite know whether to bring a jacket or not.
Available in 6 colourways – Black, Grey, Khaki, Mustard, Red, and Teal – the Tabor Jacket will fit seamlessly into your adventure kit, with one to match every style and colour preference.
In contrast to many of our other collections, the Tabor Jacket comes in both Male and Female sizing, from X-Small to X-Large, so you can find the perfect fit for you.
Eco side…
The Tabor Jacket is built from 100% recycled polyester (RPET), which comes from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. The external fabric, internal insulation, and internal lining are all made from recycled polyester, helping us stay in line with our eco side.
One thing we’re super proud of with the Tabor Jacket is that the zips are also made from recycled polyester!
To create RPET garments, recycled plastic bottles are broken down into tiny pieces and turned into fibres that are then woven into fabric or insulation and used to create the final product. You can read more about the production of RPET clothing here.

We wanted to make sure every item in our Wear Adventure Collection could stand up to the elements to help you stay warm and dry during your winter adventures. A lot of work went into the little details that help our Tabor Jackets stand out from the crowd. Here are some things you should know…
- Water-resistant: Designed to be used as a mid-layer to provide extra heat on those more extreme days or to keep you warm and dry in light rain or when the temperatures start to dip.
- Insulated: Perfect for layering and keeping you warm on your adventures, wherever they take you.
- Packable into an integrated pocket: Lightweight, packable, and perfect for travelling.
- Pockets: Two external zipped front pockets and one internal zipped breast pocket offering plenty of space to keep your belongings safe and dry.
- Adjustable toggle hood: Allowing you to adjust the size and fit of the hood to keep you sheltered from the elements, even in extreme conditions.
- Elasticated toggle waist: The adjustable toggle waist allows you to adjust the fit of the jacket to your ideal fit, while also helping prevent splashes from getting inside.
