Bleubird ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit Bleubird.com, shop with us, or interact with our marketing.

- Order information: items purchased, order value, payment confirmation (we do not store your full card details. These are handled by our payment processor)

- Marketing preferences: whether you've opted in to email marketing, and your engagement with those emails (opens, clicks)
- Browsing data: pages visited, device and browser type, IP address, and cookie data (see Section 6)
- Customer service communications: messages you send us, including via email or contact forms

4. Who we share your data with
We share personal data with trusted third parties who help us run Bleubird. We never sell your data. These include:
- Shopify: our e-commerce platform, which processes orders and payments
- Klaviyo: our email marketing platform, used to send order confirmations and, where you've opted in, marketing emails
- Payment processors (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, or similar): to securely process transactions
- Delivery couriers: to fulfil and ship your order
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram):for advertising and retargeting, where you've consented to marketing cookies
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy and security obligations, and we only share what's necessary for them to provide their service to us.
5. International transfers
Bleubird ships to and operates across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Finland, Austria, and Norway. Some of our service providers (including Shopify, Klaviyo, and Meta) may process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent adequacy protections.

8. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary:

- Account data: retained while your account is active, or deleted on request

We use industry-standard measures : including secure hosting via Shopify, encrypted payment processing, and access controls on internal systems: to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Bleubird.com is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
