An overview…
We kept the design of the Arpette Jacket simple, focusing on functionality first. A lightweight waterproof jacket built with our Irish elements in mind, the Arpette Jacket will stand up to whatever you have to throw at it.
Available in two colourways, Charcoal and Sage, the Arpette will fit seamlessly into your adventure kit acting as the perfect piece for all-season adventuring. With subtle branding and options for a contrast or block colourway, the Arpette is perfect for everyday wear and outdoor adventures.

Eco side…
As with every piece in our Wear Adventure Collection, our eco side remained at the core of the design process when creating the Arpette Jacket. Our product team is continuously working on fully recycled fabrics with our suppliers, trying to find a balance of performance, pricing and conscious design.
All fabrics in the Arpette Jacket are manufactured from 100% recycled polyester (RPET), which comes from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. Offering a two-way stretch through the unique composition of the weave, the Arpette Jacket is also free from elastane, helping us remain as close as possible to our eco credentials without compromising on quality.
It was important to us that the Arpette Jacket would stand up as a functional waterproof jacket. So, we used a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating that will keep you sheltered from the rain, while also helping us stay in line with our eco side.

The technical side…
As a journey back to Bleubird’s roots of winter, we wanted to ensure our entire Wear Adventure Collection could stand up to whatever the elements have to throw at it. The Arpette Jacket is designed to work for all seasons, so here are some of our favourite things about it…
- 100% Waterproof: A fully waterproof jacket with an Apex 1 Rating and a PFC-free DWR coating, the Arpette is designed to keep you dry and sheltered from the elements.
- 3K Breathability: Ideal for warm, wet days or for layering during cold days on the trails, the Arpette Jacket is lightweight and breathable meaning you can stay dry without overheating.
- Fully Waterproof Zip: You won’t need to worry about water seeping through the Arpette Jacket while you’re out and about.
- Zipped front pockets: Two external zipped front pockets and one external waterproof breast pocket offer plenty of space to keep your belongings safe and dry.
- Two-way stretch: Offering a good level of elasticity and flexibility without losing its shape and eliminating the need for elastane.
- Elasticated toggle hood: This allows you to adjust the size and fit of the hood to keep you sheltered from the elements, even in extreme conditions.
- Elasticated toggle hem: The adjustable toggle hem allows you to adjust the fit of the jacket to your ideal fit, while also helping prevent splashes from getting inside.
