Who we are
Founded in a small bedroom in the French Alps in 2016, Bleubird has grown into Ireland’s number one outdoor lifestyle brand, with wholesale accounts and customers across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and North America.
Originally, founder Matt focused on designing stylish apparel for skiers and snowboarders in the Alps. After relocating back home to Ireland in 2017, Bleubird evolved beyond snow sports, into the broader outdoor lifestyle scene, inspired by nature, adventure, and the outdoors.
For four years, Bleubird operated solely as an e-commerce brand. In 2020, Matt partnered with longtime friend and fellow outdoor enthusiast Michael, shifting the business towards a wholesale model.
Today, we craft high-quality, ethically sourced products that blend style and function—whether on a trail or by the coast, in the city or travelling to new destinations. From 100% organic cotton tees and hoodies to 10K waterproof jackets and deep pile fleece, our gear is built for everyday adventure.
Bleubird now has five showrooms across Ireland, the UK, France, Germany, and Finland, along with three stores in Northern Ireland and one in Annecy, France. We have a dedicated team of ten and six global partners and our headquarters and warehouse are based in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.
Driven by passion, energy, and a love for the outdoors, we are committed to creating the most functional, ethical, and stylish outdoor lifestyle products - designed for those who seek adventure… mountain, ocean and everywhere in between.
